    Try to check the battery optimization option.

    Go to settings
    Apps and notifications
    Apps info
    Whatsapp
    Advanced
    Battery Optimization
    Then select Intelligently control(dont select optimize)

    If problem not solved pls check the notification settings of whatsapp in apps info
