edit2: was top happy too soon, this didn't solve it though [e]1f602[/e]

edit, something that worked for me was going into the wifi and mobile settings, then chosing sim and network, then selecting data saving, enable data saving and then selecting WhatsApp and allow WhatsApp to use unlimited data.. 1598442035890.jpg

I don't know why but my whatsapp web is always showing a message that my phone isn't connected to the internet.. Whatsapp messages also come in when I unlock my phone but when I lock the phone the error message on whatsapp web just pops up again, what can I do?

It seems like it is not only the WiFi connection that loses connection, Bluetooth seems to be affected as well.
As soon as my ONEPLUS Nord goes into lock screen it disconnects from some devices.
So the connection to my Carkit (via Bluetooth) gets lost several times before being stable, but having my Nord connected to my Headset via Bluetooth it stays stable as it initializes lock screen.

Anyone knows what could be the cause or how to resolve this problem?

    Greetings,
    Galoem

I tried this but in fact I believe it improves but does not solve it.
1- go in the phone settings "Battery optimization"
    2- select WhatsApp
3- change setting of WhatsApp from "Intelligent control" to "Don't optimize"

Funny that when the phone is charging I don't have the issue!

This did the trick for me, thanks a bunch :D

    Edit:
I sadly have to correct myself ... whatsapp still does have connection issues.
My phone is connected via a 5GHz WiFi connection.

I have the same problem. And I think it's not only Whatsapp's notifications. It's affecting multiple applications (like Gmail, for example) when you are using WIFI. The solution suggested by @OneplusAbbra is not working. Any other solution / workaround?

Having the same issue with my Nord and the battery optimization doesn't work for me either. Even tried to allow unrestricted data usage for WhatsApp which sadly didn't help

Same problem as mentioned above. I work heavily with WhatsApp Web for work, this is actually very frustrating.

Same issue here. I have "Don't optimize" selected.

Whatsapp acting weird overall. Sometimes I don't get message notification until I unlock the phone. And sometimes it takes 15-20 seconds for a message to get sent.

Works fine for me when I'm not using WIFI. Not a great workaround though

Hi guys, same thing happening here. To me it seems that the wifi connection is going into powersave mode and messes up all your notifications. This ofcourse includes the Whatsapp web/app connection.

Weird this is, it does not always happen.

Disabling the battery optimization or the app specific optimization does not help.
    No issues on mobilenetworks.

This is kind of unusable for me..

And is there no workoaround related to the WIFI Connection not going into powersave?. Is it a hardware or software problem?

Was in the office today and didn't have any issues (was connected to our 2.4 GHz WIFI network). Problem might be related to 5 GHz WIFI then?

Same Issue here. I'm using 5GHz as well, after switching to a 2.4GHz WIFI it seems to work.
