Obsolete is a very strong word and definitely something that different people interpret differently. That said, I think the best answer is that the 1+1 will be obsolete when the 1+2 is released ;).

Whoever answered less than 2 years, has presumably not experienced CyanogenMod on a 3- or 4-year old phone to see that it can run as well as a brand new phone in most cases.

Phones technology are moving so fast incremental spec upgrades already started by some manufacturers. The OPO will last a pretty long time for a beast of a phone.

Well I'm sure it'll work in some form for many years.. it depends on your definition of obsolete? I'm sure opo have a second and third phone already in planning.

I have a nexus 4, If it had LTE stock I would be interested in any phone. 2 Years with those spec are more than enough... smartphone will become like TV, after it gets a certain size and specs the market matures.
