could be done, but you would need a lot of cells, which makes it very expensive

$30 is ridiculous for a car charger as well...

    Never.

OPPO made VOOC powerbank a while ago (which worked to DASH charge the OnePlus 3/3T) but was only 6,500mAh and costed +40$.

    For 10,000mAh, it means +60$.

Also heat is problem, fast charging = excessive heat on powerbank (more heat than regular powerbanks = faster capacity loss than normal powerbanks).

0% to 100% + super high temperatures = CAPACITY loss will be noticeable already before it fills it's year even if you use it 4-5 times a week. That is why.

+ power loss to wires = 10,000mAh rated powerbank will come as 8000mAh or slightly more, this is due of natural physics, a powerbank that heats is wasted energy, just like cars how the engine heats up because the power output of a engine is around ~70% and the rest is lost with heat, moving parts etc, and we control it with coolant, the heat. Same mechanism with powerbanks, they heat and lose lots of power.

Now i hope you got your answer, oh forgot to mention, OPPO discontinued those powerbanks, because they were mostly dying before it fills their 6 months, the only powerbanks that were not OP accesories but still worked to dash charge the phone (because dash charge patent is owned by OPPO, with OPPO having a fairly enough amount of investment on OP, it seems like they gave to OP their biggest success to it).

Not really necessary since phone holds charge so well, and the efficiency of dash charging overall when power low.
