It appears the feature has been scrapped for the Nord 2.
But since the Nord 2 may have some early glitches and bugs(a lot of OnePlus devices have them at launch time), we'll know for sure in a month or two.
On Nord (1st generation) running OS 18.104.22.168 you have always Game Space with all the options necessary for gaming.
I have the 1st gen with Android 22.214.171.124 and my UI is very different. Also, the Game Space is gone. What happened here?
Your screen cannot be different because the screen capture is from OnePlus Nord 1st generation model EU version 12/256 running OS 126.96.36.199 and OS 188.8.131.52.
If you have lost your OnePlus Game Space you can find it on the Play Store, latest stable release is dated October 15, 2021.
Uhm, I just showed you a screenshot mate. It is different. How can you say it can't be different when you can literally see the comparison between our screenshots and you can clearly see we have different things in the menu? I bought my OnePlus Nord somewhere around August 2020, so it's definitely 1st gen. And as I said, it's running Android 184.108.40.206 (so the same major build, such a huge difference shouldn't happen). Game Space doesn't exist in the PlayStore or I can't find it.
Edit: it seems like they renamed it OnePlus Games. In your drawer it will show as "Games". Still, my utilities menu is way too different from the previous release. this is utterly stupid. They seem to have turned it into an app instead of a feature. What a bad move. It's also extremely laggy and buggy. Utterly useless :/
I have no idea what this game space is about nor what the app “games” is about. All I know game space doesn’t show with my Nord either.
I was just about to reply to you there is an app called games in the app drawer.
My settings looks exactly similar. No game space settings under utility menu
My answer was related to my Nord with OS 220.127.116.11 and the local EU updates.
On OS 18.104.22.168 and latest stable game space update (Oct 15), the game space line has been removed from "utilities".
Sorry, didn't noticed that post was already outdated... I thought this was new thread
