    Hi guys,

With your experience with this OP7, which is the Android version who goes better? 9.5.8, 10.3.8, ....... ?

I am not happy with A11 as most of you and Iam thinking in order to do a downgrade but I have dooubts, I dont know if A9 o A10. I remembered 9.5.8 was very fast on my OP7. Great autonomy and the experience was fantastic. With A10 we started with some issues and in the latest version, it improves.
Can you give me your "favorite" Android version please?
    Thanks

The 10.3.8 update has been the best so far.

Frankly, aside from the occasional stuttering, heating and battery drain - the A11 update isn't SO bad. Just hope they fix this in the upcoming update. In addition, I found the new keyboard height adjustment that I absolutely love - something that was taken from A10 thanks to Google.

Custom ROM support is abysmall for the OP7. If only...

You missed to mention reduced performance. Phone takes ages to restart. Plus games literally aren't up to the mark as they used to be. And the full screen experience is gone. The reduced performance is intentional as benchmark scores are reduced with each update and phone now have just 1.3 gigs of free ram. Even sound quality was better in 10.3.8. I'm going to roll back to 10.3.8

Agree about performance - hence the stuttering issues and yes, slow booting. In addition, I do believe the sound quality has reduced.

Having said that, I don't play games on my OP 7. Got a laptop for that.

Even I got a laptop for gaming. But flagship phone should have the same performance for atleast 3 years and I've bought this 1.5 years ago. What's the use of spending so much on a device when I could've simply bought an average product at half the price.

I have not upgraded to A11. Reading all the comments and reviews on the A11 on the OnePlus 7 Pro there are a lot of issues and complaints. I am still running A10.3.7 and I am having zero issues, everything is working flawlessly. I'm getting great battery performance 8-10 hours, my phone is reliable and fast; besides, what is new in A11 many users are complaining those features are not working.
I wish I could get the latest security updates without upgrading to A11. 🤔 said:
My motto, if it's not broke why fix it. I'm staying with A10. 😎👍

How can I downgrade to 10.3.7 instead of 10.3.8? I also feel 10.3.7 was the best. 10.3.8 had reduced sound Output. Is there full zip file for 10.3.7 available?

I think 10.3.7 was taken down because of message app notification issue. But I'd agree 10.3.7 was the best. The battery life I got on 10.3.7 was great

Android 9 was great, but security patches today would be way out of date. Android 10.3.7 has gotten much better than Android 9. At one time I had the option to update to 10.3.8, but now I have only the option to update to Android 11 and I'm not doing that. I'm having no issues with an 10.3.7, its very fast, everything works, no overheating and battery is great 8-10 hours. I just wish I could get the newest security patches on 10.3.7; Otherwise, I'm staying right here. The only thing I'm missing is the Android 11 headache. 😁
