Which Power Bank I should use with my One Plus 3? Feb 16, 2017

    Which Power Bank I should use with my OnePlus 3?

    I was very interested to purchase - 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro but someone informed me that OnePlus 3 doesn't support this power-bank.

    Please help me to decide which powerbank I should use with One Plus 3

    It's not that it doesn't support the OnePlus 3 it's just that it doesn't support DASH charge, and before you ask no there are no Dash Charge compatible power banks.

    I use Vinsic 20.000 mah. Oneplus supports its dash charging and also i like their design. Check it out!

    one plus should work with any power bank but if u need dash charging then u have to get the oppo one

    Guys one thing needed here to understand first, what is Dash charger, it's a higher power charger which provides (5V*4A) 20 W power so your OnePlus get's more power quickly and charges fast than other fast chargers which provide (5V*2A) 10 W power.

    The traditional power banks are only capable of supplying 10 W power so it will take more time to charge your OnePlus with these power banks, it doesn't matter you are using 10K mAh or 20K mAh.

    Wait for a power bank with specifications like Dash charger :)

    For OP3, go with the One plus power bank.. Affordable and reliable.. Or you can also search for Type C power banks online.. Good luck.

    Go for Mi 10000 PB. Works great with OP3. Almost charges it 3 times to full 100 %. I am using it.

    I guess its not needed. I use Mi with my oem oneplus usb cable and another branded type c usb cable while traveling. In both the cases charging is quiet fast though not as dash charge but pretty fast.
    Take my word on that.

    I do agree Mi PBs charge fast because of high power output but definitely can't beat dash charging.

    We can also use Lenovo PBs as well, it has same specifications 5V/2.1A, 10000mAh

    The 10Ah Mi Powerbank is amazing. Charges my 3T in 2 hours from 0 to 100.

    Use whatever powerbank you want to. I suggest you get the Anker brand of powerbanks - anker is my go to brand for third party charging needs. Their powerbanks and wall chargers have charge IQ technology which keeps your devices getting the proper charge at each stage of the charging cycle according to my understanding of the anker technology.
