Hard choice but I put Google in a very high regard. And I still haven't been able to use the One Plus One so I dunno what to think.

Sure . Why not . Nexus phones are great phones .
But they do have a long way until perfection.

Moto X+1 will get my money unless I manage to score an invite before that releases.

The poll should have a 3rd option of "Both!". ;)

I'm a long time Nexus user but I'm also anxious for my chance at an OPO. For me, the only way to decide on one is to own and use both. If a Nexus 6 comes out I'm sure I'll be grabbing one. Each Nexus release has been more polished and stable at release. It's going to be fun pitting the Nexus line up against OPO and I'm sure it will hold its own.

Ebay/Craigslist the prices aren't that far off from the prices from this website, minus what you could potentially sell the invites for. The price of the next Nexus coming out and the price of the OPO from Craiglist/Ebay should be fairly close in price (I've seen auctions for Cyanogen version end $405-$420 not to bad imo). Are the invites the only reasons that lures you to purchasing the OPO?

I think that the competence is hard, and it will only increase. If people see that is impossible to get the invite , is normal that sooner or later they have the impulse to buy the next nexus.

I have a Nexus 5, which is a very nice phone but I'm not happy about the battery
So I get a OPO now, and maybe a Nexus 6 later if it is good
