How do you explain the midnight black with no glass on the back then?

Water resistance was teased? some kind of it was teased, to me, it seemed more like an oleophobic coating than water resistance...

And the stereo... maybe... will see... I couldn't care less, I have many earphones, headsets and BT earphones / speakers. Audio from the phone is only annoying to me at best. In what situation would I want stereo in the phone?
Still, if it comes with it, good.

I use headphones a lot too, but phone speakers always get to me when I don't have them on. it's nice having stereo speakers, ive tried them on a friend's 8 plus.

water resistance is something I really want, and I doubt it's anything other than an IP 67/68 rating.

wireless charging isn't needed but still a nice feature to have.

    I am a phoneholic.

Already have Sammy S9+ and Red iPhone 8+. Best of both worlds. If oneplus 6 price for cheapest is $550 I am in

I am looking forward to 4 extra things in op6 compared to op5t --

    1. A whole lot better camera with the possible inclusion of OIS this time.

    2. Stereo Speakers

    3. Waterproofing standard IP-67 atleast

    4. Wireless charging

If they give these features i will definitely sell out my Galaxy S8 and get the OP6.

I've read some articles regarding that, it's highly possible that OP6 will have a 256 Gb of storage

I'm not so sure it's a flagship killer any longer given the price increase every year, I think Huawei have done a better job this year as there were some great deals in the UK for Huawei P20 Pro or Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Even Samsung Galaxy S9+ was recently on sale here for £554.50 after £50 cashback. I was seriously tempted by that but I would like to see all the phones that come out this year first before upgrading :)

I've just read an interview with Carl Pei and there he states that both versions have a glass back, although it might seem that it isn't glass.

Also it was teased/leaked that the OP6 has an IP68-rating.

But tomorrow we will know for sure [e]1f60a[/e]

I am skipping the 6, for some reasons.

    1) 5/5T are still going great
    2) glass back
(seriously? On an object that you keep in hand several hours every day? it's just a matter of when, not if...)
    3) But mostly because we are in a transitional period.
(I wouldn't be surprised if 6T should come with fingerprint scanner under the glass and 7 also without the notch)

And I do need a phone that i can unlock with a finger without having to pick it up every time.

Some random thoughts then, about people asking ip67/68 and wireless charging
(no flame intended, just trying to understand)
    - IP67/68: do you really need that in a phone? Why? Are you using it in the shower?
Do you stop talking on the phone in the rain? Are you a pro who need to take photos under water?
Or just willing to pay more?
Because most phones with today's standard components are now water resistant...
IP is just a certification that will have to be tested for officially having it on your product,
adding cost to the producer and on the final product...
it's something that to me appears more like a gimmick
    - wireless charging: that could be almost interesting if wasn't for the little downside that if you
pick it up, it will stop charging... Do you never use it while charging?

Honestely, I am skeptical about these trends...

I definitely won't. The specs are only marginally better than the OP5 I got. Until there is a large difference (in particular in terms of battery life) I am not considering to replace my current phone.

When OP gets a phone that's 4500mAh or more, I will consider advancing into a newer model. Until then I can wait patiently as the OP5 is already an excellent phone that does everything I need it to do.
