Why 5G NOT Enabled by default. via OnePlus Nord 2

    Hi, I've a NORD2 5G brought from India, and I'm living in KSA.
    here most of Carriers offers 5g, but my phone settings was showing only 4g/3g/2g.

    I First thought it was an hardware issue, my phone not supporting the Bands here. But to my surprise I came to know hardware is super capable and it's software pulling it back.

    I checked community and found unanswered post and found many phones have the same problem.

    The fix I got from the forum is use third party apps to access hidden settings and then enable 5G

    Why OnePlus is not enabling it by default????

    - you must have a 5G SIM card
    - 5G must be supported by the GSM operator
    - must also be enabled by the software manufacturer on the phone for that GSM operator or area
