why are people buying the find 7? Jun 20, 2014

    It is an advantage if you are the first. But if the other "flagships" are still available for a while when e.g. the Find 7 (QHD) will be available maybe an Sony Xperia Z2 will cost the same and you can not compare their announcement prices anymore. That means where the Find 5 for example (that I have) had a huge price advantage over the other flagships as it became available the find 7 will just compete by performance as a better price is no reason anymore to buy it.

    Some people are desperate for their next phone 'fix', it's like a drug/addiction to them. Others, like myself, will happily wait it out and pick one that suits my needs/budget/timescales.

    Why ??? Because its possible to buy the find 7 that is a great phone. More expensive than opo right but cheaper than all others sg5 lg g3 z2 m8....and i dont have to wait an eternity.... i suported opo since beginning and what about my invite ? Need to race spending lot of time again still waiting and just not be able to have quickly my phone ? ..... sorry to much for me....i have a hard job that take time 3 kids...i still cant waste my time...too bad that was a good idea

    I have a feeling the OPPO Find 7 sales in the US will drop off once the LG G3 is available with US carriers. I will admit, I myself am tempted by the Find 7 everyday. Especially considering their 10% discount for students program. But if I can hold out until T-mobile gets the LG G3 I'd happily pay $50-$100 more for the LG G3.

    I won't be buying Find 7, since 2k display will consume more power, and Find 7 is only equipped with 3000mAh. It won't be able to last a day. I don't like charging, even though its charging time is shortened. What applications do/will we need for 5.5" 2k display?
    Pls help me to understand. When I do, I might jump into the line as well. ;)

    I ordered one today. Price is not a factor, it's the phone I want.

    Oh sure I would have preferred a OPO, but loss of trust in what they say means they may not be available for me to buy for months.

    The Find 7a is close enough and getting it soon is worth it to me. After all its only a phone and none are perfect.
