Why do so many people want the 64gb?

This is a silly question - when the price difference is so low there is no question which one you should buy. Apps (especially Games) are going into the 2-3GB on phones so you can quickly fill up 16GB.

I have a couple of games (Might & Magic: Clash of heroes & XCOM, I think with savegames they have about 1.2Gb)
I also keep two of my document repositories (SkyDrive and Dropbox, each of the contributing about 1.5Gb to a total of 3Gb)
my collection of Kindle Books and many other apps - these totalling about 3Gb of space (including caching, etc)

Other books (epubs & pdfs): 300Mb
    Music: 5Gb
Movies: 8Gb (more or less, I rotate them weekly)

    Photos & 4K movies I shoot: 12Gb (I don't copy them to PC often)
I also use the phone as portable storage and it happens to have to copy data to take with me (to work, friends, etc), largest pack being about 16Gb.

Total occupiable at once: about 45Gb. Add the Android system (about 6Gb on my current Note 3) and things get crazy.

    I currently have 32(internal) + 64(sd) = 96Gb.

I have a crappy old 8gb Iphone 4, I can barely hold 10 albums worth of music on there along with apps and photos. It gets really, really irritating having to switch albums on and off the thing on a weekly basis, especially with itunes involved

I think that 64 GB are TOO MUCH ! But the price from 16GB TO 64 is looooooooooooooow so it worths bying the 64GB model. As smaberg said, android 4.2.2 lacks the proper write read access to sd card [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

My Nexus 4 is running CM 11 and currently comes with 16 GB. I backup my phone with ROM Manager and this takes up a lot of storage. For only $50 more the 64 GB one plus phone is a much better deal.

Mobile phones are becoming, day by day, a more personal and indispensable object... So the more you can carry in it, the better... Besides the music and videos, and giving my example as a teacher, I carry all the information about classes in the mobile phone... With 16gb of my Nexus 5 I have to comprimise, with 64gb, I can have it all at the distance of my pocket...

Well I am going with the 64gigs because 16gigs isn't enough. Although I like the white version more its just too little space

The price difference is so small, better pay that little bit extra than running out of space later. Besides, 4K video and 13MP photos can and will take up much space.

It's simple, build in memory is much faster than SD card, so for HD video, music, multi tasking, and photos. The access will be better !
