    Yep
So far I haven't seen a legit reason for this huge price difference.

Virtually every phone is like this. Apple have even bigger mark ups, and the 2015 Nexus was astronomically higher. You just have to deal with it if you want stuff.

I think even "astronomically higher" doesn't fully describe the magnitude of the difference in prices lol!

It's only 9 euros more expensive than for the UK. As the table @redleema posted above shows, tax rates are variable in the EU, and many are now higher than the 20% paid in the UK. Its also worth bearing in mind that the Euro has been much less stable in recent times, and not long ago was over 1.40 to the £. I guess they're just factoring that in to their costs.

Someone needs to pay for them Greeks!

No no. After Brexit, everything will be free. No taxes. Our health service will be the best ever. We'll be born with degrees. We won't even need jobs we will be so rich. World peace is certain. They told me so on TV yesterday.

Pound is dropping drastically due to brexit fears and fear of the UK becoming an isolate state like Albania and North Korea, so people are moving their investments from England elsewhere and the pound is tumbling ...

It will not be VAT as investigated reclaiming it.

NHS - apparently there is a clause in Eu US negotiations about state backed industry distorting markets. Eg telecoms, airlines etc, could also be interpreted as healthcare market and NHS

us price is often shown without taxes because states have different taxlaws, and in EU tax is included in the price

yeah, but taxes in the shenghen zone (most eu countries) are only paid while entering the zone, not inbetween countries. so eu mainland has to pay the same taxes as UK because thats where the distribution centre is

And you'll all have Boris Johnson's hairstyle, ie the casually ruffled look and all children will be blond and will smile brilliant white smiles because they will feel soooooo damned privileged to be born in Great Britain, yes it will automatically be great after the vote.

I know that better than most. But what can you do when you live in the land of the "rugged individualist"? These Europeans need to import some of the expertise of our political snake oil salesmen, so they can really enjoy lower prices for the things that don't matter. :D
