I turn it on, and it takes like a minute to connect, compared to my ipod touch which literally takes 2 seconds. Its not just the latest update, its been like this since I got the phone in August. Is there a fix for this, or even an explanation?

Haven't had that problem... perhaps it's the router... but someone else might have a better answer..

Have had no problems at all, other than having to connect again, it seems to cut off after a while...

Mine is slow also, lte /4G connects in one sec but WiFi takes problem 30 to 4G sec. Every other device I have connects to WiFi straight away. Not a big drama but it does happen

This happens to me too but only on certain routers. I am connected to wi fi and pages load slowly or don't load and I get an error that I'm offline when I am connected to wi fi. I have to reboot my phone to reconnect to the Internet. I find this only happens with certain routers.

This bug is known and was supposed to be fixed by 44s, but it is still present. Be patient, maybe someday it will be fixed.

I haven't a problem with mine at multiple access points across friends/family/public wifi. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

I noticed that my OPO doesn't instantly automatically search for wifi devices so I always press the search button, it's way faster.

Mine takes about 10 seconds. Whereas my tablet takes about 3 seconds to connect. It's not that bad but it still worries me a little. Is it a software issue? Has it been fixed?

Try hard reset? If that doesn't work, try flashing the new CM12 and see if it works?
