Why don't you try out sultanxda's CM12.1 CAF ROM? Best lollipop ROM in terms of SOT and lollipop stability.

Cm 11s is of course the best and optimized ROM ever available for OPO because of following reason.
    1) cm11s has qualcomm optimized dalvik which is one of the main reasons cm11s gives great battery backup even with heavy usage.
2)there's hardly any overheating issues in cm11s out of box.But in cm12s one has to root, underclock, customer kernal to reduce the heating of phone.
3)overall 4.4.4 is ofcourse the most stable OS android has ever released because its journey started from 4.0(ICS) to 4.4.4(kitkat)
4)cm 11s doest have RADIO ACTIVE BUG(the most annoying bug in 5.0 and even 6.0)
5)tweaking of everything is possible in cm11s but thats not same with cm 12s,hopefully it will be better in cm13s
6)4.4.4 lock screen is fully secure and not like lollipop(yes,i am talking about notification drawer and quick toggles access in lock screen of lollipop)
7)auto brightness(in kitkat) is so much simple and better than adaptive brightness(5.0)
8)no 'phone awake' issues in like lollipop.
9)4K DCI video recording disappeared in cm12s
10)hexo theme in cm11s is so much beautiful and eye catchy than of cm 12s
    11)lack of quick toggles like,2g/3g toggle,volume in cm 12s .

Pls note:I am not a cm11s or kitkat fan boy but all these above reasons has forced me to stick with cm11s.The only real improvements i could see in cm12s is ART (lollipop) and updated touch screen driver in cm12s.

Not lolipop need polishing ... All custom ROMs need it.

    IMHO: COS12 is a crapcake.
OxygenOS 2.1.3: Same as above, but without cake.

    ... lol

If you have any trouble with it whatsoever, post in the thread and I usually respond pretty quickly. XDA is having some issues so latest release, Badger, has been put on alternate download sites, but the post numbers with the links are right up top. Hopefully XDA will get this fixed soon. Or if you flashed Aardvark, the incremental update is painless.

Have you tried jgcaap's? Only reason Sultans will get more SOT (IF it does) is because its underclocked. I've gotten over 9 hours SOT with jgcaap's and daily get 6-7 as typical. Quite a few people have moved over from Sultan's ROM. You might wanna give it a try.

The only official ROM for the OPO is Cyanogen OS 11, 12, and 12.1

Your original message said all 'custom' ROMs. Plus, even Oxygen isn't official on the OPO. If all you are going on by plain Cyanogen (did they ever fix the dhcp bug even?) then no wonder you don't like Lollipop.

What it comes down to is Cyanogen decided to get in bed with Microsoft, bite the Google-branded hand that feeds them (they are anti Google now), and told OnePlus to take a hike and tried kicking them out of their biggest market. While Cyanogen has been playing corporate politics, they've allowed the quality of the code to suffer. Independants that code because they LOVE it will always do a better job than people meeting a corporate schedule and playlist.

    Try something else

So true.... I add one more... In CM11, there's no Wi-Fi issue to connect to those camera devices (Canon or Nikon) while in latest version, this (dynamic IP) problem is still not yet solve.

That's official for the OP2 and OPX only, nit OPO. No OPO phones were sold with Oxygen and OnePlus continually reminds people of this when people ask for Oxygen updates on the OPO.
