why i hate Nougat on Oneplus 3 and moving back to MM !

    saadakram, Jan 2, 2017 :
guys i have tested Android Nougat final build on my OnePlus 3 for more than 24 hours now and i have decided to move back to most stable version used so far, OxygenOS 3.2.2 Marshmallow.

Here are the reasons why i am going back to Marshmallow:

1 STATUS BAR ICONS have been changed and have stupid arrows and cross signs along with WiFi and Data icon in the status bar. they should always be like stock android

2 Audio Music settings does not have BASS[e]2122[/e] feature anymore and listening to music had just been ruined for me with no BASS

3 there are no GRID SIZE options in the customisation menu on the home screen

4 when you change the display size, it also messes up your grid size even more

5 many UI features have been changed from stock android

6 software has so so so many bugs and glitches in it, NOT STABLE at all

    things which are improved:
    • messaging and file manager app
    • app lock feature added

now moving back to 3.2.2. will be waiting for changes and a stable android version.

This is just utter bullshit. . Its ur personal preferences not issues. Bugs i agree but other than that, its pretty great. . . You have your own issues that's fine but don't just scream around saying its shit...

    @saadakram

    1. Stable Nougat features. You wanted nougat, you got nougat.
    2. you can customize from the equalizer in settings>sound (only available while headphones plugged in)
3,4. why don't people use nova? its much convenient
    5. that's oxygen and hydrogen working together.
    6. which bugs? answering call slider lags, and light sensor still has problem. didn't find anything else. please Sppecify.

The reasons you went back to 3.2.x will almost all the time be a part of the OS. Please flash back and enjoy new features. :)

BTW I've made a list of requested features and bugs in one thread linked bellow.

No bugs for me. Update went smooth. I love the new update. My phone is running just like it did on MM. I love the new look too and the app lock feature.

How is your battery life? Mine is pretty horrible thus far but I'll wait a while longer to see if things settle out.

Nougat was released via Google and if you didn't like it's looks and features then it's not a oneplus fault.. Blame Google.

    I love nougat..

had google changed status bar icons ?
had google taken out BASS from music equalizer ?
had google changed phone calling app ?

if OnePlus had to change all these, why the hell they always claimed that they are like stock with extra features. they are following samsung and apple. thats it.

It's the SIM 2 icon which seems to be disabled. Go to SIM & network settings and you can turn it off from there if you're not using the second SIM slot.

I have already turned it off though there is still a SIM in the second slot. The icon is dimmed but does not disappear from the bar. I guess this is the way it is on 4.0 right? Also, how to activate VoWIFI?

Hmm, you're right. The icon remains even after deactivating the SIM.
