I am travelling to Canada for a long duration and just realized that my Oneplus 5T dash charger supports only 200-240V and not 100-240V unlike the ones found in Europe and North America. What I do not understand is that when Oneplus launched the phone it said that the phone is a global phone and would work anywhere in the world. How can it work if it cannot be charged?

Even a basic phone from other manufacturers has 100-240V input.

Is there a label visible on the Dash Adapter regarding the Input voltage information? Did you purchase it from a third-party stores or unauthorized reseller? can you send me a picture of the charger, please?

It is likely official. For some reason they made the Indian ones only support a limited voltage range.

probably due to their electricity supply infrastructure best to make it a tighter band for power input just incase
