Why not give users the ability to revert to previous build?

Why can't we revert to previous build if newly released and OTA'd build isn't working for an individual immediately due to glitches, hiccups and whatever else?

I bring this up because I have gone through several of the builds, only using OTA, and not had any issues but with 05Q, my battery drain is horrendous.

I'm just venting because yesterday early afternoon I had just over 50% battery left. I finished work and was on my way home and my phone was dead.

Well, technically you can revert and the company actually promotes flashing the different updates without revoking your warranty. On the contrary, other companies keep notifying you about the new updates for you to install them to the point where it can get annoying and if unfortunately you don't like the update, you can't go back even if you wanted to. Moreover, you will revoke your warranty and lets hope you don't mess up the flashing process, if you do, then you're done for life getting help from the OEMs.

Other companies should be emphasized. With 1+ flashing a ROM and rooting won't void warranty

Updates are meant to solve problems and not cause them. So basically there is no need to revert to a previous version.

Obviously do most companies think like I stated above. That's why there's no revert system

So let me clarify I guess. I was truly just venting and I know I can flash and get back to something that works for me.
But in settings, there should be an easy "Revert to Previous" button. Boom done! I guess, that is all I'm saying. Then you can still flash to versions 3 back and so on, but have immediate easy reversal of an update if you have issues like battery drain, etc....

But again other companies don't push frequent updates. They make major updates more like jumping from one android version to another. Also their releases are pretty stable.
