Actually if the Nexus 6 is indeed 5.9" there will still be a market for the 5" Nexus 5. The Nexus 6 will cater to the phablet crowd while the Nexus 5 will cater to the more normal size crowd.

I do love the Nexus line, but I think you are glorifying the Nexus without really taking a critical look at them. If you head on over to XDA you will see that some people have, what appears to be, constant problems with Nexus phones as well. I remember when I bought my Galaxy Nexus, people would talk about being on their 5th and 6th phones because every one they got was defective in some way. Hell, I remember one guy saying he was on his 12th or 13th device! (I couldn't understand why he wouldn't just get his money back and give up, but whatever) Dust on a screens, bad speakers, locking up, etc. I also know from my experience with the Nexus 7 (a tablet yes, but still...this is an example) it had a problem which MANY encountered where if you used more than 8GB of the 16GB of storage space the device would slow to an absolute crawl to the point it was not usable. Clearing up the space didn't fix it either...you had to factory reset.

The point of my post is NOT to scare you away from a Nexus, but rather to show you that the grass isn't always greener. Even the famous Apple phones have their issues. I do think you get a very unfair view of OPO's on these forums. People complaining here complain VERY loudly and VERY frequently, but if you look at pure numbers of complaints vs phones sold, the percentage is incredibly low that you would have a issue. Like <1% where as with the Nexus lines problems can be nearly double at 2%. Still low percentages, but just be realistic in your view.
