Why would you abandon your OnePlus One?

    Hi guys,

I created this thread because of another thread titled, why would you get the OnePlus 2. There are many valid reasons to jump ship, however the OP1 has been great. Why dump the experienced for the unknown?

If it breaks. I actually plan to keep my OPO and buy an OP2. Keep the OPO as a backup and for testing.

    Wouldn't.
When I can no longer upgrade the OS and get reasonable performance out of it I'll start looking around. I won't actually jump until I can no longer update my apps on the old OS or as was the case with my last smartphone: I fall asleep next to it and crack the screen with my elbow.

Well I feel like the new op2 will be building off of the old one and will be better. It's like why would you update an app when the old one already works.

I like having new toys to play with. I'd leave the OPO for the two because its newer and keep the one as a backup.

I might keep opo just because it's a classic and if one plus becomes a large company it'll be the classic people talk about(also because I have the bamboo back) . Still on the fence about one plus 2 as I would have to actually buy it where t mobile be giving me free phones. If note 5 isn't spectacular then I might but I'll definitely dump one plus 2 for the next one and always have opo
