Amazing display for ONEPLUS 7 pro
But the refresh rate which is higher than 30 hz ( compared to ONEPLUS 7) is quite insignificant to our eyes so it doesn't matter.
The one thing matters most is Warp charging tech on device which is quite high rate , probably the most exciting feature for me to buy the phone.
As for price I would go for ONEPLUS 7 only which is same as pro with some differences.

    I bought it because:
    90hz 1440p no notch display
    12GB Ram
    Stereo Speakers
    UFS-3.0 Storage
    Clean Software
    Somewhat timely updates
    Unlockable bootloader
Fast 30 Watt Warp charging/PD support
    Good Haptic Vibration motor
Under display fingerprint scanner - Is one of the faster ones, even if it is inferior to the one in the S10

Curved display - can result in a slight blue shift on the sides even when looking head on.
    No IP rating
    Rounded corners
    No headphone jack
Lack of wireless charging - not a huge deal, but still
    Average battery life
    No SD card support
No 5G support - not a big deal currently
Cameras could be better, but I rarely use them
    No always on display

A little too tall for my liking, but manageable/your usage may differ. No phone is perfect

Always wanted a OnePlus, but Verizon's CDMA prevented me from getting one for years...
I got the 7 Pro with a discount.
Love it overall, good upgrade from my Nexus 6 and Pixel XL.

I have 6T now, but am considering 7pro.
    I like:
    pop up front camera

    I don't like:
Have to get different car charger

    Final decision:
I will probably get 6T unlocked, gift it to my mom and get her Pixel XL traded in to buy 7Pro 12/256 for 610$ [e]1f60a[/e][e]1f60a[/e][e]1f60a[/e]

I have used all one plus phone model which ends at 1+ Five. Even new technology is adapted the phone size and weight is getting bulkier and heavy. And missing 3.5mm audio jack (why should I buy new Bluetooth headphone, when I have $500 USD Bose headphone) Now I give up one plus phones. And 1+ five is my last one plus device untill any compact premium phone is launched by one plus. No 5T, 6, 6T or 7. Just bought Samsung S10e is best compact premium phone in current market. Any phone with lesser size of Samsung S10e is acceptable.

i would not buy the one plus 7 pro only for camera . I came from Pixel 2 and Pixel's image processing is a lot better than 7 Pro. I think it's the software issue and it can be resolved. Apart from that this phone is a Godsend.

I bought the Oneplus 7 instead of the pro because
    1. don't like the pop-up canera
    2. the pro is just too big for me
    3. the price.

I use face unlock on my OP6, find it very useful so if I were to upgrade it would be the OP7.

I came from Note 8 in January 2019 to the OP 6t. I'm always looking for biggest bang for bucks. The OP 6t impressed me enough to switch to the OP 7 Pro because I love big phones and wanted complete screen without any notch or hole. Plus the speakers and the refresh rate were motivators too. I hesitated because prefer flat screen but honestly, it's not terrible - for some reason isn't as annoying as Samsung edges were on their 7 and 8. Really, pictures and videos just don't do this phone justice. I am always trying out new phones tablets and Chromebooks. I'ma keep this phone for long term. I can already tell....

lol no, is there any point waiting for that camera to pop up I still wouldn't get

The delay is less than a second. Usually as I'm pulling it out of my pocket I turn on the screen and by the time I look at it it's ready to unlock.

no I'm not buying it, I'm already used to instant face unlock on the 6 so anything slower than what I'm used to will feel like a downgrade.

Have to say Oneplus have out done themselves with that feature I didn't know it was possible with a pop up

The pop up is really fast but I prefer fingerprint to unlock as more subtle when u want to get on phone in noticed.
