Also the 6t and 7 are getting too big and heavy. The original oneplus 1 was the best phone I have owned to date. Light, thin fast, a little wider and shorter, did not feel top heavy, did not feel its weight in my pocket. Also, I really preferred the square screen corners, why would anyone make a screen with a screen with rounded corners. Im sure there is a reason, but I prefer square screens.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is an amazing phone, but the reasons I wouldn't buy it personally is:

    Curved screen.
Too big, especially for my hands.
2k display (I know you can set it to 1080p but it doesn't look as good as a native 1080p screen).

I'm ticked because I want the 7, not the Pro but they won't sell it in Canada.
Its available almost every where else... Don't try to force me to buy the more expensive one. I'm now looking for alternatives...

I will be buying the 7 pro because I love the size, the screen and the OS. I have the 6t now, and it will be going to my wife. The 6t isn't too big for my wife, and she loves it. Can't wait to get it, but any higher in price and I may have to think twice.

Wow. First, the curved edges is so you don't get accidental palm touches. It makes the bug screen useable.

The QHS display will look BETTER at FHD than a FHD screen because Samsung Amoled screens are pentile and share red and blue sub pixels. The QHD screen has smaller sub pixels (LEDs) so you don't see the red or blue tinges on the edges of text like you would on other screens.

Not allowed wires??? That's really odd. You do realize that your phone will last all day and you don't NEED to charge at work. It's not an iPhone!

I've bought OnePlus 7 pro and my brother has bought OnePlus 7 and we are satisfied for some extent but the disappointments are no 3.5mm jack to type c cable in the box, as it is amoled display borrowed from Samsung we expect always on display (AOD) as like Samsung mobiles have.

I'm asking this AOD from long period but u r not hearing to us. Is it so difficult to build AOD for these devices? I think it is easy for OnePlus so I'll be waiting for the update which contains AOD.

    Thank u

I am a big fan of big screens. I love AMOLED, and I love curved edges. This is the trend and One plus 7 pro looks simply amazing. For all these reasons I would buy it. The only reason I'm on the fence is the price. It is exorbitant for a phone company that prided itself for creating flagships at reasonable prices. All the people moaning here about the large screen(same people were complaining that the first Samsung Note which was about 5 in was too big! ) , the curved edges, the pop-up camera would buy it in a jiffy if the price was, say, EUR 500.

I bought the OnePlus 7 Pro simply because of the experience I had with the 6t, the phones are just that darn good. I can't think of any hardware flaws inherent in either. The 7 Pro looks every bit as premium as any Apple, Samsung, or Huawei phone currently on the market and it is faster than all three. One weak point for OnePlus phones historically have been the camera(s). With the 7 pro, the advantage that the others have held over OnePlus has virtually disappeared with the latest update. The chance to pull ahead is certainly within reach. The key to this is a huge OnePlus strength, and that is community engagement. By reaching out for opinions and such, OnePlus was able to make good cameras great. I would love to see the OnePlus software gurus really take it to the pixel line, and concentrate on low light performance in the next update. As far as Oxygen OS is concerned, it is light years ahead of the Vanilla version of Android, due to subtle and not so subtle tweaks that OnePlus bakes into Oxygen OS allowing for a far more customizable experience.

I won't buy another OnePlus Phone until it ships 5g compatible/reliable in US. Just got the 6T McClaren and loving it.
