it's actually a well implemented concept. I dropped it on my bed and the camera retracted before it hit. It takes really good pictures as well.

no. the OnePlus 6 is garbage, why would I be be them another penny.

I also find their users to behave like a cult. scary shit comes with using this shitty product.

I love the phone but even with the newest update I'm not satisfied with the camera. I cant recommend this to anyone at the moment. Everyone I know wants a killer camera they can just point and shoot. Most people don't know how to properly frame a picture or pay attention to lighting or time of day. They just want wham bam great picture ma'am. Also they want great pictures even when the subject moves (parents uncles aunts grandparents) Hell even people without kids in their life. Google just confirmed their Pixel 4 and that camera sensor looks massive. I cant believe I'm saying this but I may give them another shot. I find the joy of taking pictures has left me again. Its the same thing that happened with the 6 and 6T. I think they will nail it when it comes to the bugs and early issues this time. The ball is in your court OnePlus. I feel the days of owning all the flagships is at a close for me. My buying decisions directly effect at least ten other peoples the same (4 kids mom my woman and friends) Some say they are catching up but others will start pulling away in my own opinion. budget phones are getting much better with cameras and flagships are investing way more into it. I say all of this because im a big Oneplus fan and want them to succeed. Id like them to disrupt the market and make these other players drop their prices . I dont see it happening until the cameras are killer like I believe OnePlus can do. By the way I must say even though the camera with latest update still has not reached top flagship level Its getting there. I have to give credit where its due. The only thing is everyone else is doing the same. OnePlus has to do extra work to catch up or surpass the competition because they have more money and RnD behind them.

sorry, my phone mysteriously turned off the data plan. yeah, I expect a phone to just work. I don't want to be in the community. I just want my phone to work.

every aspect of this phone works one moment, then doesn't the next.

it charges fast which is the only positive. even the camera is less than average.

I actually think the main camera is at or near peer in daylight, with phones that cost 3/400 dollars more. That said, I did make a suggestion that the engineers continue to tweak the camera software so that nightscape is near peer with the Pixel which is the gold standard of night photography. As for the rest of the phone, I have zero issues with it. I set it up to my liking, and that's it.

Where are people getting the " camera is average" crap from? I gave up a Galaxy S10+ for this, and it is at or near peer in daylight photography. I had the iPhone XS max as well, and the 7 pro buries it and dances on it's grave. I swear some of the people posting less than flattering reviews on here work for competitors, or are plain ol' trolls. I know photography may be subjective, but good grief, it's not THAT subjective.

I had hoped I was being unusally hard on the camrea so I'd compare similar pics I have in my Google Photos from past Flagships Ive owned. I purposely viewed against more challenging shots from the other phones just to make sure I'm not being unfair. I wasnt too happy with the results. I can definitely say I've put down the pitchforks and fire lmao. Iwill actually use my camera now. When I want really great pictures I let other people close to me take them (Pixel 3XL Iphone XS Max XR S10+) I think the improvements from initial release have been great. before I wouldnt dare take a pic with the intention of keeping it. Lol I didnt even turn Google Photos backup on until recently. I dont have to be on the bleeding edge of phone photography. I just dont want to be at the end of line line when it comes to the Flagships. I want to be in the cream of the crop lol.

    I wouldn't buy because:-
    1. It is very pricey.
    2. I don't trust Oneplus.
    3. No IP rating. I have had issues with dust getting in the camera lens of previous Oneplus devices.
    4. There is always one or the other bug which is never really fixed until after 6-8 months of the product release.
    5. No headphone jack.
    6. Very heavy.

They will get us there my friend, just have faith. The improvements made in the latest update are proof of that. Massive difference in output imo. I'm not a photo kinda person so the camera isn't the main influence in my decision to purchase, but updates are and OP are miles ahead of Samsung, LG etc. Only Google and Apple can boast better update schedules. I usually enroll in their beta program so I get the security updates, first and foremost. Anyway, have a great day/night! [e]1f601[/e]

Ok so One Plus 7 Pro has got a higher score than Pixel 3 in DXO mark so does it fare better than it?

link to the form doesn't work, but why here's why I bought it:
First, I had the op one and loved it. It was the best phone I'd had up to then. It lasted me about 4 years. I finally dropped it and the middle part of the screen stopped working. But that phone lasting that long taught me how much I love OnePlus! Second, when looking for a phone, ram is an important factor for me and you can't beat 12 GB! A fast processor is also important. The screen on this thing is amazing! I don't mind not having a headphone jack and wireless charging does not impress me. Charging in 20 minutes does impress me.

The only reason I would have passed up on it is the price. Not because it isn't worth the price, but because my personal budget doesn't really have that much room in it. I got lucky this time.

Am ales sa cumpere OnePlus 7 Pro Blue, deoarece este cel mai frumos telefon pe care l-am avut vreodata cu ecranul complet fara butoane, camerele in fata .. etc Am 256GB si 12GB RAM si il consider cel mai bun telefon in lume în acest moment.

With the glass back and no wireless charging, oneplus seems to want a premium price without the premium features. Also for that kind of $ it should be 5G. I will wait for 5G and wireless charging or a good promo for me to buy.

To get a similar phone, you're going to pay at least $250 more. You can't expect them to add more features and use more expensive high end technology in their phones and the phones not get more expensive. If the 7 pro is too expensive, buy the 7 or the 6t.
