Wifi Calling OP3?

Anyone know if the OnePlus 3 will support T-Mobile wifi calling?

One feature that I would love to see as T-Mobile still hasn't figured out building penetration, even with band 12.

Also wondering this, in addition to wondering if it supports VoLTE and HD Voice calls. These are the only things keeping me with my iPhone 6 Plus.

Would love to know this also! They couldn't deliver it on the OP2 so I'm hoping it's working here...

I have the Nexus 6p. If the OnePlus 3 doesn't, you should ditch your iPhone for the next Nexus. Sooo much better. I came from an iPhone as well. The only thing I hate about the 6p is the size. It's Way to big.

I don't think I'll ever be able to like any device that uses a rear fingerprint sensor. I used the 5X, 6P, and now the G5. Just can't stand that placement.

It has Voice over LTE. It will probably get Wi- Fi Calling. Can't tell if it does for sure..... Doesn't the OnePlus 2 have it?

Part of my muscle memory dictates hitting the home button when I pull it out of the pocket. I tried to like the 6P with it's back sensor and just couldn't do it. In the car it's a killer having to try and reach around the back while it was in the dock. Sold the 6P and went back to the 6s+ (after having the 6+) and now waiting for the OP3 to ship.

Yea, I totally agree with you both. People rave about the placement and how it feels natural, it doesn't at all lol. Finger print sensors as a whole don't really do anything fantastic anyway. I have a feeling soon we will be looking at another technology. Google is already looking for another way to authenticate.

I was wondering the exact same thing. As a T-Mobile US customer, I would love that the OP3 has that WiFi Calling feature in OxygenOS.

    Anyone can officially confirm this?

Seems like the only way we'll get an answer is for someone to order one and see.

Mine will arrive on the 30th. Let's see if someone who gets it before can tell us.

Well I just got my OP3, it is currently Unlocked, rooted, and a custom Oxygen Based rom FreedomOS 1.3.1 and the ElementalX-OP3-0.10 kernel. VoLTE works, and WiFi calling turned on and seems to work. I am still trying to verify that it is actually working and have not found a good way to do so without shutting down my radio.

Enable airplane mode, enable Wi-Fi, enable Wi-Fi Calling.
