    Hi Guys,

    Just for clarification as there's a lot of mixed messages around here;

    Will the OP3 be getting WiFi Calling added to Oxygen OS anytime soon ?

    Also do any 3rd party roms have the feature baked in them yet ?

    BTW this is a question for the two UK networks that currently support it Vodafone and EE - not a T-Mobile USA related query.

    Thanks for helping.

    Sorry, Galaxy S7 Edge has WiFi calling in the UK on EE and Vodafone . . .

    I think its part of the dialler app on Android phones, as it seems to be on Samsung, also I know EE support the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and HTC 10 as well on Android - not sure about Vodafone.

    It's clear that OnePlus has little interest in supporting Wi-Fi Calling. I'm surprised they even support VoLTE. It's all a shame. I'd be likely sell my Note 7 for a 1+3 whenever it supports these features, but by then it'll probably be too late.

    Not many non Apple phones even support the feature.

    A lot do, including the 5X and 6P, but most supported phones come from carriers that specifically bake Wi-Fi Calling in. Hopefully it'll eventually be built right into the base Android OS.

    OP3 already has the "Wi-Fi Calling" option but not activated in the UK according to the customer service agent.

    If you go to Settings and search for "wifi", scroll down the list and you'll see "Wi-Fi Calling". If you tap that option, you can set it on but it goes back to Off as soon as you leave that menu.

    It will be fixed in the next update, apparently.

    Interesting. Can anyone else confirm the existence of a Wi-Fi Calling option (perhaps with some screenshots)?

    EE certifies each phone for use before they allow wifi calling. Even if it was possible, I can't see them doing a phone with a such a low user base like the OP3.

    Similar to T-Mobile USA, though I bet some of the phones they sell in stores (all of which support Wi-Fi Calling as a requirement) are far less popular than the 1+3 has been.

    I'm on Vodafone and already sent them a text to activate my WiFi calling. Hopefully it'll work once the OP3 update is available.
