Wifi issues after update 10.5.8 - OnePlus 8 Pro via OnePlus 8 Pro

    Hey all,

    Has anyone been experiencing wifi connectivity issues since they updated to 10.5.8? Since then, my wifi has been disconnecting pretty regularly and my other devices have no issues.

    Having a similar issue. When my device goes to sleep and i wake it, I am finding that i need to disable my wifi and re-enable it to get my connection back.

    Yes this will fix the issue temporarily. The issue is, we paid $1000+ for this phone. Should I really have to toggle WiFi on and off several times a day just for basic phone functionality to work. I can't get texts, messages, calls, emails or any other form of communication on a communication device that I paid a lot of money for. I absolutely have to have these functions to do my job. I'm going to have to go back to my Pixel and leave OnePlus behind.

    Wa la. No more disconnects after changing my MAC privacy setting to "Use device MAC" and change from default "Use randomized MAC". Been going all day with no drop, it's been making me crazy!

    I hope you're right. I just made the change so I'll see how it goes. I've had some kind of wifi issue and, also, couldn't figure it out.

    I'm cautiously optimistic but I just did it last night and I went to my office at 6am today so I only had a few hours with the new setting.
    I'll be home early this afternoon and I'll see how it goes the rest of the day.
    How about you? Still solid?
    And has anyone else on here done this and have results?

    Fastest order i have recieved, only 4 days from Poland to Croatia.
    The phone works perfect, the screen, the speakers. Its super fast and looks cool.
    never had any problem with green tint, black crush or drm lv3 (its l1).
    battery lasts good 7h heavey usage 4k 120hz.
    buy it u will not regret it.

    This did not fix any issues for me. Most of the time, my WiFi is still connected but will have "limited connectivity" while all of my other devices are fine. I've interacted with the bug hunters but have yet to hear anything back.

    I'm still having this issue even with the latest update and setting the MAC address to use the device MAC. Anyone else or is it just me?

    i dunno if this helps someone somehow, but I found out that was my router at home, I was using a Synology with smart wifi, I tried to use the ISP router wifi, and since that moment my wifi is petect. already 3 days without a single disconnection and before was around 2-3 mins

    yea, I think it has to do with some ax features, it drops off less on my non Ax 5ghz wifi, and not at all on 2.5 GHz. super lame since it's the only device I own that is ax compatible but it's also the only one that has issues on my ax network ._.
