    hello

My 6t has stopped obtaining WiFi.

It's stuck on obtaining IP address.
There are no WiFi issues as my tablet works fine on it.

I've reset the WiFi options in settings, rebooted the phone.
I haven't had any updates since I was connected to it yesterday.
    Why has it stopped overnight?

    Any ideas are welcome?

    I'm hoping this isn't a permanent feature.

Every device connected to a network needs an IP Address.

There are two ways of setting an IP address for a specific connection, either you manually set the IP address for every WiFi network you connect to, or the WiFi Router / Access point automatically gives & set an IP address for your device.

This automatic IP address distribution process is handled via a DHCP server. This feature is built into every WiFi router. So you need to log into the WiFi Router settings panel & check if DHCP server option is on or off. If it's off, then your phone or any phone or laptop trying to connect to that network can't get / obtain IP Address for internet use.

    Thanks.

Try to reset your network adapters, settings, system, options for reset (I hope this is translated the right way), reset WiFi mobile and Bluetooth. You might have to set up you WiFi connection and Bluetooth again after this reset.

Wait is it only with google or all sites, as I see you’re posting from your phone now

    Edit
Also is it just Chrome that's not working or don't you have internet at all?

I guess the issue is in Chrome then. Have you lately updated Chrome?
