Will OnePlus end OP3/3T Open Beta Program after Android Oreo update?

As the company has rolled out the Android Oreo update for OnePlus 3/3T, will now company be ending the Open beta program for both the phones? The company has passed some of the similar comments previously and that's made me ask the question here.

And if it's ending, will there be any open beta updates or not as the first build of open beta for OP3/3T is still buggy.

Nobody can tell you that from the Community...
Understandably, Beta will always be buggy no matter how many beta's you get...be it new bugs or old.

If you want stable then wait for the Stable rollout.....

Yes, I know. Does that also mean that till it is not released for all, the company will continuously provide the open beta updates?

You will get it when it is stable. Don't worry about alpha, beta or gamma.

Thanks. Yes, It will be buggy. But my issue is about updates. Will I be receiving the Open Beta builds now as Android Oreo has now been available in Open Beta and company in one of the reddit session claimed that it will be switching off the open beta for 3/3T after Android Oreo update

They will do so only after releasing the stable build of Oreo.
Now stop bothering about the same and start using your phone the way you are supposed to.

When they said "after Oreo update"..they meant the stable update...so you will get Beta's until it gets roll-out as Stable...

    I think [IMG]

After release of "stable" Oreo open beta train will start for the oneplus 5. Since OP3 /3T are not getting major updates after oreo ( Security updates and bugfixes will most probably come, but no update to android "P" ) there s no need for an open beta anymore.

Yes, Once the 3/3T gets stable Oreo OTA. Beta program will be moved to 5&5T. Then all those 3/3T's should have to be migrated to stable OTA as they no longer receive Beta's

Further 3/3T use to get some security patch updates after it receives Stable OREO OTA .

To answer this in short yes, oreo will be the last update that 3 and 3T will receive. We will have oreo beta program till the time the bugs are present OP5, 3 and 3T ROM. As soon as the bugs are fixed this beta program will also be stopped.
