LOL, if they want to break into the American market, sell em in Walmart, Cosco, Target and the like...anywhere BUT Best Buy, because they would rather hook you for a 2 year contract, and upsell you on warranties and other stuff you don't really want or need.

Thank you for pointing this out more people want it for a continuous OS update more than anything people get sick of waiting on updates that will never come or come just to late

Anyway most people can live with out it or die from it I suppose to me if you have enough experience you can slap Cyanogen on your phone and just be Kosher I already have a back up folder to my Android on my PC so really losing Information is a moot point I have no worries in that regard

Others would rather not deal with that process which makes the phone still candy I guess

Compared to that, I'm more worried about how often do I need to charge the phone.

Pointless question. Although it is a well known fact that everything perishes. Even people. Have a nice day!

OPO is a strategically planned operation. The company is own by Oppo like some have already mention. With that backing them and with invite system saving them a bunch in marketing expenses, OPO is essentially playing with house money. In that case, no. OPO is a niche product, those who want it will eventually have a chance to get one.

Man..let it come out first...but you are right..other Chinese manufacturers are racing to make better phone...opo should launch full force ahead before loosing any more ground..but, it will survive...it surely will...

If it's one fallacy that bugs me, it's the "no true Scotsman" fallacy.

Regardless of *why* you want the OPO, it doesn't change whether you are a "real" fan or not. Because you value CM and freedom does not make you any more of a real fan than somebody that values a great device at a great price.
