    thanks for the info dude

what does the article convey in the end?

CM support in india has been handed to some other company
so servicing will be done by that company, soooo?

By feburary we will have the UI made by opo and we can flash it.
UI they made will be based on android L, so thats good right?

Is there something to worry about from the article?

It's still unclear....will there be frequent updates by oneplus like cyanogen or not. Let's wait till Saturday... I hope all will be sorted out

Worry.? Might be. Article clearly states that Cyanogen not gonna support Indian units of OPO. Forget about Lollipop with CM Mod in India.

This worries me now ! I loved this device for cyanogen plus frequent updates it received ! Without cyanogen support we will be stuck with user experience that we receive and no improvements ! Plus no android L as well ? :( .. And all there global devices will be supported ? Why discrimination towards us ?

so buying a US based OPO is a better option? and even OPO wld provide service of such phones in India

Its indeed a great dissapointment for the Indian fans of One plus One.Though One plus One is assuring India fans of their own Engineering support based on Android Lollipop its was a mistake on the part of One plus one to have delayed their launch in India. Had they have launched 2 months ago this would have not have happened.

True!!! I mean this will make the device lose its sheen somewhat as regular updates made this device great buy.. Now I have just one more query, can we Indians get the updates through pc connections downloading via 3rd party sources??

This has made me cross think whether to go for my invite on the 2nd or just wait for that Micromax device which is guranteed to get regular updates from Cyanogen in india
