I upgraded my Pipo X8 a few days ago, after waiting for a while : too many bad reports, issues aso...
But, finally, it was easy and straightforward :) only issue was a missing/unknown driver (in fact, not certified for win10).
And today, everything runs fine. Better than 8.1.
Edit: it's not my daily driver. Still using 7 on PC.

Using for a month now, did a clean install of 8.1 and updated to 10. My 2011 laptop works better on 10 than on 8.1. Dooo it!

I have the release on my HTPC and insider on my laptop.

It kept asking for a key and I don't have one

At my opinion Windows 10 is actually really good, didn't find any bugs for me atm but sure there are some out of there. For me Windows 10 feels almost like Windows 7 so yeah, I'm really happy about it (Ples no haterinos)

    EDIT:
Btw, if you wan ta free Windows 10 Pro key do the following:
    1. Install a cracked version of Windows 8(.1 or lower, not sure about that. Make sure your windows also thinks its legal even it's cracked)
    2. Use the free Windows 10 upgrade (This will convert your cracked Windows in a legal key. Windows 10 keys are hardware based so no redo. You need to COMPLETE the upgrade. So download and install etc..)
    3. Download from Microsoft site official Windows 10 iso and install it (Just to make sure we got rid of all cracks)
    4. If Windows ask for a key while the setup just click skip and when your install is completely done, now Windows will compare your HWID (Or some shit like that) with on their server and you're good to go!

This worked for my brother, friends and me fine right after the release of Windows 10 so not sure about now!

Dirty upgrade and zero issues. Privacy concerns can be dealtbwith in settings. A lot better than Windows 8 imo

I am working as an IT-supporter and we do have a lot of customers who updated to Win10 and here is what I would suggest:
You could give it a try for sure. It is not something you really should do, since win8.1 is still relevant to use. An important thing for what I can see is that when/if you upgrade I would highly recommend you to install a clean installation of windows instead of migrating your win8.1 files into win10 files, since it can cause some strange errors. I personally like win10 in many ways for a personal computer I use at home but not as a computer I use at work because there are some problems with VPN and stuff like that.
