This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to our winner, @Impersonal ! Our community manager, @Ruby G., will contact you soon via forums PM regarding your prize.

    Hi friends,

We often talk about the power of the OnePlus community here on the forums. We've put our heads together to create better product experiences (#PMChallenge), troubleshoot questions, and source some of the best #Doggoportraits known to man.

OnePlus users are curious and inquisitive, gathering information from multiple sources for analysis. Our latest contest series celebrates this knowledge-sharing nature of our community. To participate, tell us your answer to the question below:

What websites are part of your daily digest?

We'd love to hear the reasoning behind your choices. The user who gives the most interesting answer (based on community feedback + staff voting) will win a mystery swag box from us in the mail!

Please note all mystery boxes will only be shipped to USA addresses. Winners outside of the US region can opt to receive their prize in raffle points. Standard terms and conditions apply for this US region contest. Read them here.

For me, there are a couple websites I visit every day. I usually start my day by listening to The Daily, a New York Times podcast that recaps the most important news items of the day. Afterwards, I'll visit the New York Times website for interesting articles and bookmark them for later reading.

Each week, I'll also try to read The New Yorker from cover-to-cover, starting with the fiction piece. Throughout the week I'll pick my way through the issue on my phone.

And finally, I always find myself refreshing The Verge multiple times a day, trying to get the latest tech and gadget news.

@David X. to keep it topical, here are some great Android and tech related sites that I personally enjoy reading/visiting :

Also I'm a //www.reddit.com/ frecventee it's sounds vague, but yes, I let myself go on the subreddits rabbit holes from time to time, also their app is great

I just wanted to name drop a few, they are all great, and deserve atention OnePlus should really aproach some and develop ties, maybe develop a app together, exposing OP users to them and vice-versa, something like Samsung Flipboard, or Google's "Articles for you" sistems etc, yes I am aware there are some great apps like paperoak, inoreader or the more conventional like Google newsstand or Yahoo news digest, but a OnePlus spin on a app between those lines, would be great! ;)

This forum. Mostly with the community app. Most used app actually [e]1f609[/e]
XDA - Via Tapatalk, phonenerds heaven I'd guess.
Swedroid - Via Tapatalk. Swedish Android site with a forum. Always nice with nerds from your own country from time to time
YouTube. Rarely on phone though since I prefer huge screens for video. Mostly political stuff and tech.
Netflix is close to daily. Just lack the time to see everything I want [e]1f609[/e]
The rest is kind of random. Whatever news I fetched by accident and that interests me. I don't look for interesting news... They find me.

Let's go through my daily routine:

Engadget - Always my first stop for the day. It's an easy to read site that helps me keep up on all the latest tech news.
The OnePlus forums - I always try to be a helping hand for anyone who needs it, so I stop by throughout the day when I get a chance.
ResetEra - As a gamer, there's no better place on the internet to get up to the minute discussions on what's going on in the gaming world.
NPR - My favorite source for news that's presented as accurately and factual as possible with no sensationalism.
SecurityWeek - Since cybersecurity is my career, it's great to keep up on all of the current cyber news.
PCPartPicker - I'm always on the lookout for some great deals on PC parts, so I check my lists daily to see if there are any bites. It's also a wonderful resource for pricing out entire PC builds, with great compatibility checkers.

Yeah, I was big on NeoGAF back in the day before the falling out. But I like the new place better. The old place is..... interesting, now.

This is very interesting, learning new things about our community members :p

    • Facebook - mainly to see what's new in the meme worlds of Subtle Asian Traits and Subtle Christian Traits
    • Reddit - AskReddit is my main, r/AsianBeauty my side bae
    • Mashable - I like their mix of pop and tech news, usually delivered in a fun way
    • YouTube - have this site open most of my day, listening to talks or music binges. https://www.youtube.com/user/schooloflifechannel is a nice one to passively listen to while working.
