My favorite feature of the OnePlus 7 Pro is the 256GB with UFS 3.0. Some may consider these features to be separate, but I consider it to be one feature, storage. UFS 3.0 is the storage solution, and 256GB is the max amount of storage. I am what you call a content creator and a heavy media consumer. I’m constantly creating media, and a lot of it tends to be pretty massive in size, 1080p/60fps videos that often comes close to 1GB, up to 50 photos a day, and screen recorded clips of topics of interest from various media outlets that I post on social media. As for media consumption, I consume music in Hi-Res, streaming via Tidal that sometimes I often download offline, and then locally via FLAC or ALAC that tends to be anywhere from 20MB-40MB per file. With the fast UFS 3.0 mobile storage solution I don't get failed recorded videos when I record in 60fps, file transfers are quick (whether internally moving between folders on the phone, or between my laptop and smartphone like the music files), and downloads are fluid (games for example). With this storage, I'm able to have space for all my content and use it as efficiently as what's necessary for each task. I don’t suffer from a false sense of excitement of seeing this huge amount of storage (256GB), but slow storage, that doesn’t allow me to truly enjoy the freedom of the highest quality media that this digital age can offer.
