    29) Fun fact: On 16 December 2014, The Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court banned the import and sale of OnePlus One phones following a lawsuit by Micromax alleging it has exclusivity for shipping phones with Cyanogen OS software in India. On 21 December 2014, the ban was lifted. The device continues to be shipped with Cyanogen OS; however, a customized version of Android specially designed by OnePlus and named OxygenOS has been released, allowing later OnePlus devices to be sold in India.

    @cdnfarmer

    With the watch, I'm very interested in what the OS has to offer. It seems to be a proprietary development, but it could also be that they took a version from OPPO and adapted it to their own device. However it is, I would be interested to know how well or poorly they implemented it, how much google stayed out of it and what the idea was behind not using WearOS.
    Of course, this can be a flop, the watch is not independent, it needs a smartphone, i.e. it does not have a SIM card. Payment is also not possible, since there is no NFC interface installed. What really disappointed me, however, is that WIFI is not even on board. I can live with that, I don't need to surf the web with the watch, but updating the watch via the smartphone sounds a bit old-fashioned. But I wouldn't think about it anyway, because of the very few connectivity options, it won't be so bad if there are bugs that make it possible to attack the watch, so I also think that there won't be many updates for the watch. I'm not bothered by the best will in the world, I also rarely to no updates on my smartphone, but that's much more because I do not operate my devices with delivery Android, but just use a heavily modified on data protection and security OS.
