Well it's less important than the first 2 for example, don't think I've used NFC even once in the past 3 years.
Actually scratch that, think I tried it out with a friend of mine by sharing a youtube video and time stamp to him. Though it was awfully slow and inconvenient.

I can report that tethering/mobile hotspot does work. My eight-year-old couldn't get wifi for her iPad in the salon while getting her little brother's hair cut -- a serious first world problem if there ever was one ! -- which gave me the opportunity to try out the hotspot function. She reported that although 4G speed was a little slower sometimes than she's used to with fixed wifi, everything worked fine and was totally usable.

One problem, I couldn't get wifi on the One to reconnect to my home router later without a restart. Don't know if this is a bug or operator error.

I tried Bluetooth file transfer, and that worked for a large image. I can't seem to send a contact card from my X running Sailfish OS to the One running UT, but I don't know if UT should support this BT profile in the first place. My lack of experience with UT again may be the issue here. Haven't had a chance to try out and hands-free headset or stereo audio function -- I'll need to borrow something to try that.

I thought that GPS had been broken, which would be a serious regression, but it's okay after the second reboot following the OTA 2 upgrade.

Anyone else have any interesting findings with OTA2?

Edit: Bluetooth headphone audio pairing works. I found a cheapo tchotchke Bluetooth tabletop speaker my wife must have scored at work and tested it out, works great!

Has anyone been able to install Ubuntu touch on multirom with an android 7 primary Rom? With which Rom? Which multirom version?

    luxuskamel, Oct 5, 2017 :
Multirom is no longer working with OPO. If you want to use UT you have to wipe the android.
that is what I know, but it could be that efidroid is working

And which primary ROM are you using? I have tried with LOS and it doesn't work...

And Ubuntu Touch starts and works properly with this version of MultiROM? (I ultimately gave up on MultiROM because I just couldn't get Ubuntu Touch to work and I really wanted to try it out.)
