There are wireless payment receivers in McDonnalds for Barcleys contactless card payments which uses NFC in the cards, This should work with the phones as well but the app Google Wallet does not work in the UK

EE has a contact less payment app, but it only works with the Galaxy S4 and S5 bought from EE.

I have Qi charger and I am using it sometimes to charge my Nexus 7 and my wife's Nexus 5.
The charge is much slower than via USB that is for sure.
Now, you idea of quickly putting phone on the charger every time you are at your desk sounds like something I would do as well.
The reason I do not do that is that I am not sure if such short (couple of minutes, up to an hour) frequent charging would not result in much shorter battery life. Since it is not replaceable in any of my devices (Nexus 7 and Nexus 5) I do not dare figuring that one out all by myself :)

Hi, I was thinking of getting a Fatboy pillow wireless charger for the OPO, but I'm not sure if it works! Anyone has used it? Or any other wireless charger?

The phone doesn't support Qi charging by default, but you can get pads that plug into the micro USB port and rest on the back of your phone while in a thin case.
