CM is just the icing on the cake, even though the cake wouldn't taste as good without icing, it still tastes awesome:D

With launchers like Nova Launcher getting better every day, I don't think it would have been a deal breaker if it had its own skin/modified android os. However, having CyanogenMod shows that OnePlus was listening to the Android community. It's a fact that most launchers/skins from the big companys are pretty bloated or lackluster. Giving us the full ability to made the device our own with CM was absolutely the right choice to grab the attention of the Android community.

I don't think I'd be as interested as I am. I like CyanogenMod because of how close it is to the stock Android experience. I don't like bloatware and I want a device that will continue to be updated long for as long as possible. Other manufacturers abandon an older device as soon as a new one comes out.

I'll be honest I didn't know Cyanogen existed before I found out about this phone. Soooo, yep.

Cyanogenmod is a big selling point, it gives me some relief about software updates and how long it will take to get them. Without their support I would have more questions that Oneplus would need to answer before buying.

Probably, but it mightn't have peaked my interest if it hadn't been mentioned in the article that led me here. I'm a huge fan of cyanogenmod.

You know, I kind of like this invite method a little better than going back to the buy page on the website every few hours hitting F5 hoping that it says "In Stock"...

It does make me a little anxious, but I'll take anxious over frustrated anyday.

cyanogenmod definitely gives the 1+1 its edge but IDK I think I would still buy the phone. College has made me broke :(

So long as it would be open to modding and the rom community it would be a great option. CM makes it a lock in for me.
