Worst Experience with Special Edition

    I have OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition and I got screen timeout issue. I visited service centre last month, back then I got issues related to screen timeout, fingerprint reader not appearing and lagging issues and they reinstalled the software and issues solved but here I got screen timeout issues again and I report bug and sent them a video of issue but they are not giving proper solution because issue not reproducing on their device. And now I have to live with this issue until I have this phone. If you are interested OnePlus then give me solution which is permanent to this issue or else I am done with this phone and OnePlus.

    May be but now I am not interested in OnePlus. I bought it just 5 months ago and still I get issues like this. And they are not giving proper solution.

    Ouch I am sorry to hear that. I too have a McLaren too and I love this phone. Unfortunately not everyone has the same experience.

    Have you submitted a ticket or talked to them?

    I reported bug and they contact me and I sent them a video of issue. But they said issue is not reproducing on their device.

    That is stupid. YOUR device could be one of those rare, lemon device that is acting funky. They should be testing YOUR device. Not all devices will act the same. Yours may have faulty parts too.

    I say you try as much as you can to address your issues before the manufacturer warranty runs out.

    Worst case scenario, it can be used as a trade-in device if the issues make the phone totally unusable for you.
