Let's have a look at it first , but you are right at this price point and without 'great ' customer service people will definitely think once or twice before shelling out five honeybees.

    Here is another article .

Considering that the going rate for flagships is $800+, a quality phone under $500 sounds really good. I wouldn't hesitate to drop $479. Of course, there are cheaper, comparable phones out there as well. It's always nice to have choices and competition.

Well since OP3 in Indonesia cost around $520, i will gladly change my OP3 with OP3T if I can get it with that price

Why wouldn't you mind it? I'm not dropping the cost of a decent mid range computer on a weak piece of glass. What justifies 2X, 3X, and 4X the cost of the phone? OnePlus should be trying to increase competition by lowering prices. Not raising them to be like any other company.
Besides, what justifies releasing a new version of the same phone - with a slight bump in the SoC, which itself only costs $50. I was hoping to get a OP3 for $350 sometime soon, but at this point, it doesn't seem that will be happening.

Depends on the phone itself. Could be a special edition/limited edition BS. 2K res, dual cameras, optical zoom. I don't think it will be a standard update.

But if it is, I'm more worried about the op4 pricing.

Since I have no clue about specs, can't really answer it, can I?

I'll say this though, OnePlus 3 is a solid enough device for me to trust OnePlus with $479 of my money.

It's an $80 watch.( Probably, not)

If it is a new phone though at that price, I think they'll see a big shift to LeEco .
    We'll see.

[time] in evleaks tweet makes sense now

Sadly I bought a mi band 2 recently.

So probably $479 for OP3 + smartwatch? Kind of a bundle pack? Sounds like a sweet deal

    $80 for 821 and 2k display won't make sense.

I'd choose Moto/Huawei/Mi before going LeEco. Haters may say that they don't care about rooting/modding but I'm on a custom kernel and things are super smooth, even though it scores less in Antutu, it feeld damn fast. LeEco neither provides kernel/ROM sources, nor they release bug fixes. Just good for running benchmarks.

Good point, my missus has a G4 and to be honest I can't really see a massive speed difference between that and my +3 for day to day use.
The LeEco stuff looks good but availability and support will be no better here in the UK I think.
I've still got a mi band one, works fine.

More than availability, I'm worried about quality. Le 2 had issues with display where on long pressing the display would make creaking sound. Their flagships don't have any kind of OIS/EIS whatsoever which means anything less than bright sunlight would mean bad photos. Not worth the savings atleast for me.

Similar specs? The "alleged" phone isn't out yet how can you say this. ;)

Besides, answering a poll like that without knowing anything real about the alleged device doesn't really makes much sense. :p
