    I mindfully practice social responsibility which includes repurposing items for further use. In addition I take great care with my tech gear so as to extend its life. I routinely give my older phones away rather than letting them sit unused.

    Mine has horizontal lines across the screen that are worse when the phone is cold and they've been slowly getting worse for months.

    mhh wouldn't destroy anything that is working. would give it away (my galaxy nexus) to someone who need it (for free), but most people i know are using iphones. so anyone needing a htc desire s or an ascend y300 ;)
