    They are "Google". They already did all the math. And if they ever will be providing with 5 year support and hampering their own sales, they would still be benefiting in one or the other way. In either case, other companies will certainly need to increase their support to keep their customer base.

    Or else there will become Duopoly in the market. (You guessed it right, other's the Banana 🍎😏)

    I think not many of you realize what actual chip architecture entails. Let OP focus on software and actual phones. Let giants like google, apple and samsung expand first. For now, OP can stick with qualcomm.
