    But I can't keep a "view" from rotating.
    If I lock it, it lock all apps from rotating and I'm not going to be that much of a jerk

    Any way to set this so it didn't effect other apps? For instance if it's not on a white background I can still see a little blue. My transparency is set to 93%.

    Can't cyanogen put this into the rom and make it work with rotation and such? This I'm sure is pretty similar to what Samsung did with the galaxy s2. The s2 had a yellow band on the left side and Samsung software fixed it somehow. This is pretty great so far though thanks Aaahh!

    I don't think you have to "lock" the rotation, because as you said it will lock everything.
    You will have to make some IF function to detect the current screenmode horizontal/vertical (or when it changes) and here is where you want to rotate your gradient yourself (in code), this doesn't lock the rotation, but it changes the positioning of the gradient when we turn our phone.

    I know some of programming in C#, VB.net, C++, never been into Android so i'm not sure if i can really help you.

    I was actually planning o do it for a few days, just didn´t get to it earlier. I hope the new version will start on boo, that´s one thing I am missin for now since you have to set it up again. Interested to see what the new version will bring, it works quite good for now already
