This is not a defect it's a feature. Instead of you buying gunnar glasses opo is providing it in the same price as the phone..

    Naaah, it's a defect alright..

Now I think about I just gave them the solution on getting rid of their defect batch.. Name it the gunnar edition and people will love it.. or not..
On the other hand they fixed it already by shipping it over to the western market..

I'm tempted to cancel the order I just placed a few hours ago.

    thinking .....

Any suggestions as to whether I should cancel and wait?

Incidentally, does anyone know if the invite can still be used for a second time after canceling an order?

And if so, does the 2 week validity period still apply?

Its reported a lot of times and comparable to the Find 7 screen issue. In the recent times, the frequency is more.

That's shipping both ways. $30 or $40 is nothing to sneeze at just throwing away. For a defective item a company like Amazon would not only refund your shipping but they'd also pay for you to ship it back.

The problem is that there are plenty of
unedited photos of OnePlus Ones that have no yellow strip in any condition. For OnePlus' position to stand, they have to be able to prove that it is part of the design of EVERY phone, not just a few.

As your status says "BANNED", now you may get banned as you are contradicting with @Carl who has said the yellow tint is a lie :D

Also... they posted pictures of OnePlus One's with various screen color temperatures. In all of those pictures the color was evenly distributed. They disproved their own bull shit "design."

Looks like OP is right calling the One a FLAGSHIP KILLER. The problem is, it's their flagship that's getting killed.

Give it some time, that's the glue, when you ran that benchmark thing it made the glue hot which made it melt, now it's solidifying again so you're seeing the yellow. It takes a while to cure it. Once the glue (LOCA) dries, then you'll be good to go.

The phone was most likely manufactured very recently. This is so damn common, even Apple runs into this.

I know this because I work on phones.
