you will get support... in the t's and c's oneplus will support the phone for either 2 or 3 years I can't remember which.

and I may sound 12 buy I'm not the one moaning to people that have 0 control over the things your moaning about. you may as well talk to a tree as it has just as much influence on oneplus as a company.

you bought the wrong phone if you're expecting stability reliability and good support.

the whole idea behind the oneplus was to offer a phone for the techy the tinkerer someone who's not scared to flash a rom.
not a budget phone for the masses.

I had Samsung for 5 years, they had about 2 or 3 updates a year, that's less than what oneplus have delivered in the 10months I've owned one.

you can also still update cyanogenmod with OTA updates without going over the air. downloading the files manually on the phone and updating via recovery is a perfectly simple solution to updating cyanogen even if oneplus cut all ties. again something that the people the phone was marketed at will do without batting an eyelid.

My choice will be OnePlus 2, because, i don't want to spend ~ 800$ for a phone with TOP SPECS...
Why should i do that if OnePlus will beat them all with 400$?
    ;)

i know it's customizable, that's why i said that it's not AS customizable as OPO, but i don't need that much freedom, i only need email and phone calls, so i'm okay with pretty much any phone

My next phone will be the iPhone 6S. I had used an iPhone 4S for 3 years then thought I would try the Oneplusone. Yes it is at a good price but the software sucks. Videos keep freezing, apps crash, YouTube app takes long to open up, the phone occasionally has exclamations marks next to the WiFi and antenna icons which don't allow me to call or browse the web.

If the software was as solid as iOS then it would be no competition.

Just too much headache from Oneplus and its software.

Unless you have a crystal ball and can tell me what phones will be around in four years time (that's how long I keep my phones) then I think I'll wait to see what phones are around when I need to change. FWIW, I don't see there being any problem getting updates for the remaining period of support and there's not usually any ground breaking innovations that actually matter if your current phone is performing as it should - mine certainly is. ;)

I have had Huawei, HTC and Samsungs before, and wouldn't mind a Nexus either.

All companys I have trust for, OnePlus not so much any more..
