I would love one. This would stop my girlfriend from snooping around my phone when im asleep! not hiding anything, just a matter of principle.

As long as I can unlock it with my cats paw, I'm good.

AFAIK you could unlock an iphone using your nipple... so a cat's paw is not out of the question.

Useful.....had one on the first Motorola Atrix a few years back, one of Motorola's first dual core handsets.....it worked fine and was slightly quicker than the way I currently unlock....No way it would slow down a current day flagship device......

probably eaiser. Just need to swipe your finger over the scanner whilst you sleep and she's got access! I've done it a few times for work! ( paramedic with drunk, OD people, looking for next of kin details etc...)

Not necessary but would be a cool feature to have, not willing to spend extra for it and it's not a dealbreaker

I know there are so many comments coming out asking if the Finger print sensor is in the back or in the front and this is my take on why it should be in the front like iPhone or Samsung GS6 and not in the back like OPPO phones...

I know the backside sensor can be very useful if you have your holding it in your hand but there are instances when your not holding you the phone in your hand like while you are working and the phone is on the table.. There can be instances when there is no finger in the back but give me one instance when a person is using the phone and the there is no finger in the front or on the side walls of the phone...

For a person to open the lock (if on the back) when it is on the table he/she has to pick it and in that case I would not use the finger print sensor and it would be a waste... It should be on the front which would make extremely useful feature...

I'd adore the sensor in the back for lock/unlocks, but more useful if its in front.. like to make online payment with your fingerprint signature, I'd not like to rub the back :D:cool::p

It would be cool if it is in the back but would not be as useful if it is in the front...

If it is in the side then that would be cool but it might reduce the size of the sensor and thereby reducing the security and accuracy of the sensor...

It would be a pain for them to implement it. But I think it will be easy to use.

You will have to sacrifice something or the other... and by the recent news about smaller phones I guess they are keeping it in the back
