Youtube app freezes when loading new video

    gigitek , Jan 2, 2016 :
When loading a new video, the youtube app freezes before the video and the comments are loaded.
The app gets stuck and is unresponsive at the loading spinners (spinners are not moving, they are stuck also) . After some time i get the popup saying "YouTube isn't responding. Do you want to close it ?" See screenshots.
This happens at random with a lot of videos, sometimes the playback starts, sometimes the app gets stuck. It's kind of unusable.
Does anyone else experienced this ?
I have Youtube 5.7.41 version installed, but if I go to Google Play the reported available version is 10.49.59 - but I don't have the update option available there, just the Open button.
I have cleared the cache, disable the app, did not solved the issue.

Uninstall the app from your phone and re-install the latest version from the app store

It's a system app, and I only have the option to disable it, I cannot install it. If I disable it and then go to Google Play I only have the option: Enable. Not Update. Clicking Enable changes the button to Open. That's it
    Ideas ?

    YouTube isn't a system app.
You can uninstall it by dragging the icon to the bin that appears when you drag the icon to the top of your screen.

I just did a factory reset on my phone, and youtube was already on the phone, see screen for software details (BTW how to update to oxygen OS 2.1.3, I have no OTA updates notification):

As you can see in my previous post in the screen shot with the youtube app details I cannot uninstall the app: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/youtube-app-freezes-when-loading-new-video.420942/#post-14332686

OnePlus included it as a system app in Oxygen for OPX.

Only thing I can suggest is root and delete YouTube, then re-install as per normal way from Play Store.

Yes, that is correct, didn't buy it directly from OP.
Ok, I need some help then. I don't have root or anything yet. What steps do I need to follow from that page ?
The ones described here? · For Non Rooted Users with Stock Recovery and use this zip:[PS: Clean flash lovers: Full 2.1.3-X Zip here]
I'm saying that zip because in the section · For Non Rooted Users with Stock Recovery they are mentioning only the 2.1.3-X OTA zip
    Hope I was clear enough...
    Thanks for helping !

not sure if this will work with the original recovery but download :

For Non Rooted Users with Stock Recovery
and use this zip:[PS: Clean flash lovers: Full 2.1.3-X Zip here]

put it on your phone, start up in recovery (power + volume down) and install the zip.
    After install clean cache
    reboot
If this doesn't work you should root first and install TWRP on your phone https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...unlocking-bootloader-on-oxygen-os-opx.417946/

I've updated using Stock Recovery, and I used the Full 2.1.3-X Zip, now my phone reports OxygenOS 2.1.3-X.
This version of oxygen also came with Youtube installed, but I was able to update it to the latest version and the problem from the OP disappeared !
Also, no bloatware here as Bartnl mentioned, only google apps.
    Thanks for your help !
