Since I've got the 9 pro..I've been seeing that videos automatically gets unpaused even after I pause it again. It's getting unpaused every few seconds after I pause the video. Is anyone else facing this problem?

Can you check if the samething happens when you run a YouTube video from chrome rather than the app

No the video doesn't unpause automatically in chrome...it's only happening in the app

I think it's an issue with the video codec. Can you update Google webview and try again. If not reinstalling the YouTube app should work once you have updated webview

But it's happening in other video players like Netflix, so I don't think it's a Google app based issue... other 9pro users r also facing this problem...I think it's a system bug... so it should be fixed in the next os update

I assume you are already on the latest update? I have seen this issue on other forums and one suggestion was to disable picture-in-picture and try if that helps. You can search for that under settings

This is also happening to me. Green one+ 9pro with factory installed screen protector. I had the issue both before and after the last OS update.

I have the OnePlus 9 Pro and I am also noticing this bug. I was initially in denial that this was an issue but it has been occuring frequent enough now so it's clear to me that this phone is indeed unpausing by itself.

I would like to mention that I've had the same issue, for most of the video player apps (like YouTube, Netflix, disney+, etc). I removed my screen protector on the first week, and I've had the phone for months now, but the issue still exists.
