It works without any problems! I'm using YouTube Vanced myself. Just google Vanced Manager and download the ".apk" and through the app just install Youtube Vanced and the othernservices for it to work properly. It is recommended to log into your Gmail account as well. And my personal suggestion disable the original Youtube all, so that in the app drawer you don't see any other Youtube apps, only the Vanced one.

After using for years, I updated to oxygen 11. My vanced app had vanished. Searched thoroughly through the phone and can't find it. I decided to download and install again, but now I get the following message

Can anybody help me here please?

Thanks for your prompt reply. I've tried all the mentioned methods in the article apart from installing as a system app, requiring root. I've no idea why the vanced app vanished in the first place. It literally disappeared after updating to oxygen os11. I can see others have encountered the package signing issue but no apparent resolution yet 😔. I'm sad because not only does it block ads the app also scrolls super smoothly unlike the native app

It maybe die to the additional security measures of Android 11 as it has Scoped storage.

Maybe check with the Vanced App developer to see if they have come across such issues with App and Android 11.

You will also need the Vanced version of MicroG to ensure it can work.

This is the Vanced Guide available from the Playstore, shows how to submit Bug reports and more to App developers.

I know you're trying to help, but I'm not a newbie. Clutching at straws a bit there. I've tried all those avenues already.
The problem lies in vanced being present on my system somewhere, but not being able to delete it's footprint.
I downloaded SD maid to help me find vanced remnants....here's what I found

It shows a tiny 1kb file is there, bit won't delete it and says file not found. This is clashing with the new apk signature.
So please any users who have actually encountered this get in touch.
And yes I know I can solve it with a root but I'm not going down that route 😂

Hence why I also suggested contacting Vanced developers as well via their Help App to see if they have come across this behaviour before and how they may suggest to resolve it.

Any resolve to this issue ? I'm facing the exact same thing. I have tried almost everything but nothing seems to work.
